RHB Bank – Office Interior Design & Renovation Singapore

RHB Bank was established in Singapore in 1961 as UMBC, and, through a series of rapid expansion and strategic mergers, became known as RHB Bank Berhad Singapore (RHBS) in 1999. They currently have a network of seven branches strategically located around Singapore and their main office in Singapore is located at the bank’s wholly-owned 17-storey RHB Bank Building located at 90 Cecil Street.

Being adaptive to changes, RHB changed its culture towards working setup. Therefore, they needed an office interior design firm to help them with their new setup. RHB wanted its staff to be able to have open and flexible discussions.

In order to create RHB’s vision, Ampersand came up with an office interior design plan for the last 2 floors of their building. The 2 floors are converted into an area for flexible discussions and a town hall area that can be divided into smaller areas using sliding acoustic panels. Colorful graphics and artworks can be seen from the staircase that connects the 2 levels to the main wall. This helps to promote creativity and interaction between staff.
